Early Years Department Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Early Years for an influential Manager to join our team.

Our Early Years is made up of Little Pilgrims, aged 0-3 years, and Pre School, aged 3-4 years, and is overseen by the Head of Early Years and Early Years Operations Manager. Each department has a dedicated Manager who is supported by the Early Years and School Leadership teams.

The successful candidate will lead our Little Pilgrims Department and ensure the continued delivery of outstanding care and education. They will be an experienced and dynamic Manager, qualified to level 5 in childcare, with a successful track record of leading and managing an Early Years setting with children age 0-3 years old.

Working with the Head of Early Years and Operations Manager, you will share our vision to inspire a love of learning and will support in the development of play, care and learning within the department.

Alongside the Room Leaders you will ensure the smooth day to day running of the department, be responsible for staff rotas and ratios and be compliant with the EYFS Statutory Framework, with a good understanding of OFSTED frameworks and processes. You will ensure staff effectively cater for the different age groups and stages of development across the department.

Cleaner

Pilgrims are looking to appoint a Cleaner to join our team on a part time basis.

The successful candidate will assist the team in ensuring the school is cleaned to a consistently high standard on a daily basis. This will include but not be limited to, mopping, vacuuming, emptying bins and polishing, all whilst ensuring health and safety standard are met.

The working hours are 5pm – 9pm, Monday to Friday, all year round.
