“I am just starting my third term at Pilgrims as a Class Teacher and I am absolutely loving it here. I feel so lucky to be surrounded by such passionate educators who have the children at the forefront of everything they do! I have 15 years of prior teaching experience elsewhere and I can honestly say that this is the happiest I have been in my professional life as I know that I am supported by a fabulous team for whom nothing is too much trouble. There is a vibrant buzz to the school – the children have the best fun, both indoors and out and it is a pleasure to teach them.”

Mrs Phillips, Reception Teacher

“I’ve always felt incredibly appreciated working at Pilgrims. No two days are the same and the children continuously surprise with their personalities – and, sometimes the staff too! It’s such a great environment to be a part of.”

Karen Sinclair, Registrar

“I have recently returned to Pilgrims as a HLTA, after a period of time at another setting, and am so pleased to have returned! I am very settled and enjoy the challenge of working in Reception. The school has great emphasis on making sure their staff are happy and look closely when pairing teams, I am very happy here and hope to continue my career here for many more years.”

Miss Johnson, Reception HLTA

“Since joining Pilgrims, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as the Estates Manager. The role is as fulfilling, interesting and fast paced as I had hoped, and the whole school team are excellent. The role is exactly as advertised and the process from application to starting work was seamless. As part of my personal development, Pilgrims gave me the opportunity to take part in the Inspiring Leaders Programme over the course of 12 months. This was both practically helpful for my role in the school, as well as, enabling me to have a recognised Level 5 leadership qualification. I would strongly recommend anyone interested in a role at Pilgrims to submit an application, it is a lovely place to work.”

Jonathan Bennett, Estates and Facilities Manager
