Early Years Department Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Early Years for an influential Manager to join our team.

Our Early Years is made up of Little Pilgrims, Kindergarten and Pre School, and is overseen by the Head of Early Years and Early Years Operations Manager. Each department has a dedicated Manager who is supported by the Early Years and School Leadership teams.

The successful candidate will be an experienced and dynamic Manager who can lead our Kindergarten Department and ensure the continued delivery of outstanding care and education.

Working with the Head of Early Years and Operations Manager, you will share our vision to inspire a love of learning and will support in the development of play, care and learning within the department.

Alongside the room leader you will ensure the smooth day to day running of the department, be responsible for staff rotas and ratios and be compliant with the EYFS Statutory Framework. In addition, you will have a good understanding of OFSTED frameworks and processes.

Early Years Practitioners

Owing to an increase in numbers of children we are looking for NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualified Early Years Practitioners with key worker experience to join our growing team. This is a permanent, full-time position working 37.5 hours a week, on a shift pattern of between 8am-6pm, Monday to Friday annually.

We look for our practitioners to demonstrate their passion for working with young children and those who have a positive attitude, are highly professional and enjoy working as part of a team. Wrap Around Care & Play Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Wrap Around Care team to assist with lunchtime and tea duties.

You will support the Wrap Around Care and Play Manager in planning and implementing ideas and setting up equipment for children, as well as, assist with the organisation, setting up and clearing up of lunchtime and tea. You will also ensure lunch and tea time runs smoothly during holiday club weeks.

The working hours for this position are 12.00pm – 13.30pm and 15.30pm – 17.30pm, Monday to Friday, all year round.

Holiday CLub Assistant

Are you looking for work over the school holidays in a fun and engaging environment?

We are looking for a Holiday Club Assistant to join our busy Wrap Around Care team. The successful candidate will help to provide a fun, caring, happy, stimulating and safe environment for children through a variety of games and activities under the direction of the Wrap Around Care Manager.

Pilgrims Holiday Club covers approximately 12 weeks, providing out-of-school care for half terms, Christmas, Easter and the summer holiday. Each week is themed, and the children choose from a wide variety of activities, including arts & crafts, ICT, swimming, cooking and Forest School sessions.

The below shows an example of the Holiday Club schedule for an academic year. Exact dates can vary from year to year.
