The children are now approaching their sixth birthday; it is an exciting time. Their interests help our staff to plan learning through a wide range of carefully structured topics, which involve visits to the locality and beyond.
Every child's individuality is treasured and their growing independence is encouraged. Each class teacher is responsible for the full range of subjects with the exception of French, Music and Games, which are taught by specialists. Additional support is also provided by our qualified classroom assistants. Creativity and imagination is developed through many concerts, plays and performances. We have superb sporting facilities with on-site pitches for a wide variety of winter and summer sports. Children, staff and parents look forward to taking part in our annual Sports Day and Picnic during the Summer Term.
Pilgrims is a community and we take pride in the strong relationship which exists between our parents and our school. We support busy parents by offering Larks Breakfast Club each morning from 8.00am and Owls Tea Club at the end of each school day until 6.00pm.
